Dancing between two worlds

Each of us carries two sides. At least.
On one side, she’s the one who carefully plans, cooks, plants flowers, puts up shelves, and organizes family chaos.
On the other side, she’s the untamed, passionate, playful, spontaneous one – with a glass of wine in hand and a spark in her eyes.

2Stvory was created for you – for those who seek beauty with meaning, craft with character, and textiles that turn a house into a home.

How it all began

It started with a simple wish: to have an ordinary kitchen towel that wasn’t ordinary at all.
We wanted one that would truly excel – wonderfully absorbent, lasting for years, and beautiful at the same time. But everywhere we looked, there were compromises. Either it was practical but dull, or pretty but quickly faded into a sad piece of cloth after the first wash.

So we decided to create our own.
We combined two fibers that complement each other perfectly: linen for strength and absorbency, cotton for softness and comfort.
And we elevated it all with jacquard weaving, a technique that gives fabric its unique character. Thanks to this, the pattern isn’t just printed on the surface but woven directly into the structure. The result is textiles that are double-sided, durable, and truly beautiful.

Our very first creations were tea towels, and they remain at the heart of our work today. They are pieces we hold in our hands every day, and their design, natural fibers, and tactile woven texture subtly lift our mood and make everyday moments feel more beautiful.

Since then, we’ve expanded to tablecloths, placemats, and cosmetic pouches. Yet the principle has remained the same:
functional, beautiful, and made to bring joy every single day.

What matters to us

• We create locally, in collaboration with the sheltered workshop Dom Svitania Jakubov
• Every piece is designed with zero waste in mind – we use fabric leftovers for small accessories
• We find inspiration in nature, Slovak traditions and the rhythm of modern women
• We work in small series, with deep respect for materials and the people who work with them
