Our products are created with respect for nature, traditional techniques, and the people who make them. When selecting materials, we prefer natural fibers such as linen and cotton, and we pay close attention to every detail during production. To ensure your 2Stvory items bring you joy for a long time, we recommend treating them with the gentle care they deserve.

Washing

Before first use, we recommend washing textile products at 30 °C using an eco-friendly detergent. This helps remove fine textile dust from weaving and prepares the fabric for everyday use.

Kitchen towels can be safely washed at temperatures up to 60 °C. For placemats, napkins, table runners, and pillowcases, we suggest a gentler approach – a delicate cycle at up to 40 °C. Oven mitts and smaller accessories will best retain their shape and qualities when hand washed or machine washed on a gentle cycle at 30 °C.

Avoid using fabric softeners, bleach, or aggressive chemicals, as they can damage the natural fibers.

Drying – natural is best

Do not tumble dry linen and cotton products. Let them dry naturally in fresh air – this helps prevent shrinkage and preserves their shape and structure.

Ironing – if you prefer a smoother look

The presence of linen gives the fabric a naturally slightly crumpled appearance – it's part of its charm and character. However, if you prefer a more polished finish, you can iron our products at a temperature suitable for linen. For best results when ironing towels, placemats or tablecloths, we recommend lightly dampening the fabric beforehand.


Caring for Wooden Products

Our oak serving trays and accessories are crafted from solid wood and finished with natural oils. To maintain their beauty and longevity:
Clean with a damp cloth; avoid soaking or placing in the dishwasher.
Periodically reapply food-safe oil to nourish the wood and maintain its luster.
Store in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, to prevent warping or cracking.
